The Sansusī Tripod was one of a series of three instruments created for an improv trio performance at the opening of an Atis Jakobsons exhibition in Latvia during the summer of 2017.

 

The night of the opening, a soundscape by composer Anna Kirse guided the improvisations of the trio on the second floor of an abandoned building in the Latvian countryside at the Sansusī Festivales. This video is not documentation of that event, but instead was recorded weeks before the performance in Atis's studio upon the completion of this first instrument.
